The TOGÜ Culinary Education and Production Facility, operating within our university, attracts attention with the practical training opportunities it offers to students of the Culinary Arts Programme in the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department of our Vocational School. The facility embodies our university's vision of ‘student-centred and practice-based education,’ enabling students to develop their professional skills in a professional kitchen environment.

A Strong Learning Environment Supported by Practical Training

Students in the Culinary Arts Programme of the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department at our Vocational School have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain in theoretical classes at the TOGÜ Kitchen Training and Production Facility. The facility offers a wide range of activities, including pastry and bread production, sourdough and gluten-free products, and chocolate production. Students gain experience working in a real production kitchen with professional equipment, learning work discipline and industry standards first-hand.

A Sector-Integrated Process with the 2+2 Education Model

The 2+2 education model implemented in the Culinary Arts Programme of our Vocational School's Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department plays a significant role in preparing students for working life.

  • During the first year, both theoretical and practical courses are offered over two semesters.
