Dear students,
Tourism and gastronomy, one of life's most enjoyable fields, is an exciting world that allows you to communicate with people and get to know different cultures up close. As the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services Department at Tokat Vocational School, we aim to prepare you for this world in the best possible way.
In our Tourism and Hotel Management Programme, you will have the opportunity to learn all the knowledge and skills related to the sector, from accommodation services to front office, service techniques to customer relations, both theoretically and practically.
The Culinary Arts Programme is specially designed for students who wish to turn their passion for flavour into a career. In our practical kitchens, you will experience Turkish and international cuisines and have the opportunity to combine Tokat's rich local flavours with modern interpretations.
As a department, our aim is not only to impart professional knowledge, but also to nurture confident, creative, innovative and team-oriented individuals. We provide all the support you need to make a difference in the industry, backed by our experienced academic staff and robust practical facilities.
The Tourism and Hotel Management Programme successfully implements a 3+1 education model. Our students receive theoretical and practical training at the school for three terms, while in the fourth term they gain a term's work experience in prestigious hotels in Turkey as part of ‘Vocational Training in Business’.
Our Culinary Arts Programme implements the 2+2 education model, one of the first of its kind in Turkey. After two semesters of education at the school, our students work practically during the third and fourth semesters at our university's Production Workshop and at Turkey's elite hotels as part of ‘Vocational Training in Business’.
If you aspire to be among the tourism professionals and chefs of the future, Tokat Vocational School is the right starting point for you.
We are here to accompany you on your dream career journey!
With love and respect,
Dr. Lecturer Selim ÇAKAR
